ATHENS — A Greek ferry carrying 411 passengers and 55 crew was on fire off the coast of the island of Corfu in the Adriatic Sea, reports said on Sunday.
Private broadcaster Mega said the fire started in the ship's garage and was quickly spreading through the ship.
The Norman Atantic, belonging to the Greek ferry line AKAK, departed from the eastern port city of Patras en route to the Italian port of Ankona.
