A section of Silom Road is closed to traffic from noon until midnight on Sunday, starting at Saladaeng intersection in front of the Dusit Thani Hotel down to the Silom-Narathiwat Ratchanakarin intersection, the Metropolitan Police traffic division announced.
The road is being closed to allow the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to organise a new activity called "Walking Street @ Silom".
People who want to take part in the event can catch the BTS skytrain to Saladaeng and Chong Nonsee stations or the MRT subway train to Silom station.
