Wall Street up as fears for European economy ease

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 60.17 points (0.58 percent) to 10,400.86 at 1410 GMT, while the broader S&P 500 index gained 6.28 points (0.56 percent) to 1,097.91 points.
