F1 title is Vettel's to lose after seizing lead

Reigning champion Sebastian Vettel heads into the last four races of the season knowing the momentum is with him and his fate is in his own hands after a commanding win in South Korea.

Sebastian Vettel lifts the trophy and a bottle of champagne on the podium after winning the Korean Grand Prix on October 14. He heads into the last four races of the season knowing the momentum is with him and the fate of the championship in his hands after a commanding win in South Korea.

With the poor performance of both of Mercedes' cars in the race, one wonders if Lewis Hamilton is having second thoughts at joining them for next year. Michael Schumacher is still one of the best drivers in F1, yet he has only managed one podium finish with Mercedes. At least McLaren is in a position to challenge for the title. Mercedes is not. Plus it looks like Red Bull has finally got their act together again. Vettel champion this year and next? Could well be.
