Strauss-Kahn strikes secret deal to end US sex case

Former International Monetary Fund chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn agreed a financial settlement with a New York hotel maid who had accused him of sexual assault. 

Nafissatou Diallo, the hotel maid who accused Dominique Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault, leaves the Bronx Supreme Court in New York with her lawyer. Strauss-Kahn has agreed a financial settlement with Diallo.

A judge ordered Monday that details of the deal between Strauss-Kahn and Nafissatou Diallo, a 33-year-old illiterate migrant from Guinea, be kept confidential.
