LONDON — Lawyers for Sarah Ferguson, the former wife of Prince Andrew, say that Rupert Murdoch's News Corp has agreed to pay her for repeatedly intercepting her voicemail messages.
The Duchess of York and actor Hugh Grant were among 144 phone hacking victims who settled on Friday with News Corp over its campaign of illegal violations of privacy by its British newspapers.
The duchess split from Andrew in 1992 and her tumultuous personal life has long been a staple of British tabloid reporting.
