Never has it been more obvious that the "rebels" in Syria were and are (and have been all along) Al Qaeda. Even the leader al-Khatib of the so-called Syrian National Council openly admits Al Qaeda constitutes the SNC's armed militants and demanded the US support al-Nusra. So the US is going to further arm and support Al Qaeda after a 10 year "War on Terror?" The UN's silence on this says a lot about the illegitimacy of "international rule of law."
