Picasa photo galleries redirected to Google+

Google has finished transferring the photo albums that were stocked on its PicasaWeb platform to its social network. They will now appear in the "Albums" of the Google+ "Photos" section and web address redirection is automatic.
However, the Google Operating System blog states that redirection is still possible to PicasaWeb through the specific URL https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/myphotos?noredirect=1.
