US takes NKorea threat seriously

WASHINGTON - The United States said it would bolster defences against a possible North Korean missile strike a week after Pyongyang threatened a "pre-emptive" nuclear attack.

Hagel: 14 more interceptors to be stationed in Alaska.

Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel said on Friday that 14 more interceptors would be stationed in Alaska, increasing by almost half the 30 already deployed along the California and Alaska coastlines. The aim is to have them in place by 2017.

    Sounds as if obama's new defense secretary has NO clue about NK...Even sounds as if he's scared somewhat....I suppose the clueless are always scared.
