Libyans called to polls amid mounting anger over insecurity

Libyans go to the polls on Thursday to elect a constituent assembly in the latest milestone in the chaotic political transition from the ousted dictatorship of Moamer Kadhafi.

But there was none of the voter enthusiasm that marked Libya's first free election in July 2012 as public frustration mounts over the post-Kadhafi government's failure to restore order.
