En route for sainthood, German's road trip in John Paul 'relic'

A German vintage car enthusiast set off Monday in a 1958 Polish-made car that belonged to John Paul II before he became pope, headed for Rome to honour his canonisation.

Marek Schramm is an admirer of the late pope and got behind the wheel of the spruced-up FSO Warszawa, sporting a "JP2" license plate, to make the long trip from Berlin to Italy.
