23:56 GMT - BRITAIN'S UKIP ON 22 SEATS - The eurosceptic UKIP party have scored 22 seats after nine of the 12 regions declared in Britain so far -- equating to 29 percent of the vote -- ahead of the 16 seats for the Conservatives of Prime Minister David Cameron (24 percent) and the 14 seats won by the main opposition Labour Party (23.5 percent), AFP's London bureau reports.
