Rory McIlroy began the back nine with an eagle to jump back into the title hunt as Sunday's final round of the PGA Championship settled into a shotmakers' trophy fight.

Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland hits his second shot on the fifth hole during the final round of the 96th PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club on August 10, 2014 in Louisville, Kentucky

McIlroy hit his approach 274 yards and knocked in a seven-foot eagle putt to reach 14-under par, one off the pace set by Americans Phil Mickelson and Rickie Fowler and Sweden's Henrik Stenson.
