South Africa beat Zimbabwe in first ODI

South Africa beat Zimbabwe by 93 runs in the first one-day international at the Queen's Sports Club on Sunday.

The Proteas piled up 309-3 in their 50 overs with Hashim Amla top-scoring on 122 not out.

Zimbabwe were dismissed for 216 in the last over as South Africa took a 1-0 lead in the three-game series.

The second and third matches are at the same venue on Tuesday and Thursday.
