EU, Iran statement expected around 1700 GMT: US sources

LAUSANNE - The European Union and Iran were expected to give a joint statement on Thursday amid marathon talks aimed at scaling back Tehran's nuclear ambitions, US sources said.

EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini was set to give a statement in English at around 1700 GMT, followed by an identical statement in Farsi by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
