Athens - Turnout at Greece's bailout referendum has already hit 35% with several hours to go until polls close, Greece's Mega TV channel reports Sunday.
Other Greek media outlets also report that the turnout is safe to pass the 40 per cent threshold for the referendum to be legally valid.
Athens News Agency says ballot boxes are being filled at a similar rate to January's general election, when 65 per cent of the population voted.
