Impressions of a 9-year-old at the border

Hello, my name is Buk Kum. I am 9 years old and live in Kantharalak district of Si Sa Ket province.

Sorry, my Thai is not very good but I still like to call myself a Thai person, even though sometimes people from Bangkok laugh at my accent. I don't mind. I think Thailand is a nice place.

Living in this part of Thailand is very scary right now. There are lots of soldiers and guns and I can't even go to school because a bomb landed on it and now it is all blown up and stuff. I don't even have any new clothes to wear because some bombs fell near my house. It happened so quickly that I couldn't even get fresh clothes.

The map was very old so draw a new map and claim ownership. If you want something even though it is not belong to you just made it up and go for it because you are stronger. I think there might be only about forty percents in this article is from the kid opinion and the rest is the writers'.

Mr. Arglit, your 9 year old boy shares the same view with the yellow shirt..I think that you should add another 10 year old boy who shares same view with Mr. Abhisit in your next article..

Thailand should teach their children to understand history of Thai and Cambodians . We are the Buddhist states, we believe in Karma .Our culture and custom are similar. Million of Khmers are living in Thailand, just called themselves Thai .About 80% of Khmers living abroad are consuming Thai imported food and watching Thai movies .My opinion I suggest Thai should relinquish claim against Preah Vihear and surrounding area adjacent to temple, the world court already awarded to Cambodia, no matter what.Having this historic temple in the hand of UNESCO is a wise decision, both Thai and Cambodians can enjoy together.May Lord Buddha bless Thai and Cambodians love each other in order to preserve our ways of life as Buddhism
