Gen Panlop a bad choice for deep South

The Council of State's ruling excluding Gen Panlop Pinmanee from his proposed new role in the far South has saved the government from making a big mistake.

Remember the Krue Se mosque massacre back in April 28, 2004?

D2 please help me out by explaining what the red riots have to do with with an appointment that is a shocking insult to the Southern region of this nation. The quality of thought and logic is occasionally lacking on this forum. And what ever happened to reconciliation? There are plenty of other jobs that can be given to Panlop to reward his loyalty. Why spit in the Muslim's face? What is to be gained for the nation or the boss?

PTP is not impressed by YET another mistake...it will truly be a long , long time before they can show us some good statesmanship....and to discussion 8 I would say ; the massacre mentioned above should be added to the 2500 people shot without trial in the so called war on drugs...... that total of victims will already be quite impressive enough...and that is no spin.....

It's a common belief that Thais have short memories but for the Prime Minister to have been so badly advised seems unforgivable. It's bad enough that the General in question was not tried for war crimes but then considered for another go is almost unbelievable.

Rewards, rewards! Let's not forget, general panlop switched allegiance back and forth as the political winds blew this way and that, he's an opportunist. He should be put on trial for the incident, but nooo, the only villains in the army are those who planned the coup.

PTP are determined to be as abrasive as possible, nice start to reconciliation!
