Arisman's plea: a right to incite arson!

In a recent interview, Arisman Pongruang-rong, who turned himself in to the DSI last week after spending more than a year on the run from Thai justice, has made a number of statements typical of the man's complete disconnect from reality.

Hilariously, he proclaimed that ''I have exercised my constitutional right to demand democracy''.

Okay, either the man is confusing the phrases ''constitutional right'' with ''pathological need to create chaos'', or he is referring to a number of special ''Secret Articles'' of the Thai constitution that no one else knows about, such as:

@Dumdon. You have mixed up your words : it should be 'Anarchy Express'.

KMAC letter has been missed in all of this as has the original letter by Rujira Bunnag. The whole flood was caused by government officials incompetence and mismanagement and politicians interfering in the operation of the administration of the country. The government should be accountable and the many millions affected who lost because of this should join together in a class action and sue the government. The police should be sued for allowing looters and transport scams in flooded areas and not doing their job to protect our nations assets. Whilst I am no supporter of Khun Mallika, the kick she gave "K" up the butt is the least that is deserved for all his meddling in the management of the floods, to the detriment of the people he was "elected" to serve.

Re Discussion 12: Works for me. These people are unfit to vote and rule themselves anyway. What they need is a benevolent dictator. And the de facto PM isn't him.

    Proposed new amendments.

*Prime minister must have at least 10 years experience in politic, must know how to stop floodwaters, must speak English fluently, and must hold ONE and only ONE citizenship. (Sorry, Mark)

*A vote by electors with PhD. degree counts 7 points, Master degree 5 points, Bachelor degree 2 points, otherwise counted 1 point. Citizen who pay no income tax are not allowed to vote.

    *Constitution shall not be abrogated only indefinitely suspended. (So we don't have to waste time draft a new one which is practically copied from the old one.}

Hey Bangkok Dave please write more often.

Totally agree with pquinlan. If passed UDD/PTP proposals will lead to even more corruption, blockades, murder and arson.

Time to enforce the law : not to give it up.

    Bangkok Dave.

I fear you are going to be disappointed, that rumbling sound you hear is the Amnesty Express rolling down the tracks.

  • Discussion 9 : 14/12/2011 at 11:06 AM9

    No amnesty.

Try all those who have broken the law. If guilty, then put them behind bars regardless of their status before their new status of "convicted criminal". Otherwise, this cycle will never be broken.

    No amnesty.

Bangkok Dave, thanks for your letter. It would be funny if we don’t consider the real possibility that people like Arisman run around free and become MPs which are immune from prosecution. TiT
