Talking publicly about Thai monarchy

To speak wisely of something, one needs to understand all aspects of what one is verbalising about. But first, we must ask ourselves the following:

The Nitirat group’s proposal to amend the lese majeste law has whipped up much contention across the land, with citizen groups launching campaigns to show their disapproval, such as this one in Nakhon Ratchasima earlier this month.

How many types of conversation can you have with someone? Many, of course. Let us break all conversations into just two types, positive and negative. The former should have no problem, mostly. The latter, however, may have adverse consequences, especially on the person you are talking about. Two kinds of conversation within this negative scope _ criticism and defamation _ are worth discussing.
