I fully support national police chief Priewphan Damapong in his campaign against influential people and gunmen under their control.
These contract killers have been responsible for the deaths of so many local administrative officials during the past several years.
The existence of these hired gunmen is linked to conflicts of interests among local officials around the country. These officials have their own turf, and they are allegedly backed by corrupt civil servants.
