The honeymoon period for the Yingluck government has apparently ended after nine months in office, according to an Abac Poll released on May 13. The poll was conducted among 2,048 people aged 18 and up between May 8-12 in 17 provinces, including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Ubon Ratchathani and Songkhla.

Asked what they thought about the Yingluck government in general, 37.8% said they felt tired of it and paid no attention to it, while 62.2% wanted it to continue with its work.

However, only 26.3% of respondents said they would continue to support the government, while 63.1% said they wanted to be a silent force without any political affiliation in the present situation. The remaining 10.6% were not supportive of the Pheu Thai-led administration.
