With the anti-government movement gathering steam, some die-hard activists are looking forward to People's Alliance for Democracy co-founder Sondhi Limthongkul returning to the fold as the forceful protest leader he once was.

Sondhi: May be dispirited

His opponents observe the firebrand PAD heavyweight is rather focused on shooting a broadside at the main opposition Democrat Party when he should be aiming the barrel at the government.

    Sondhi's conviction of fraud earlier this year (the evidence was so great he pleaded guilty), his failing businesses, and his lunatic ramblings like the US wanted to use U-Tapao as a base to control the weather for sinister purposes have eroded his popularity to only the lunatic fringe of Thai society.
