The Thaksin 'loyalty' sideshow

To be seen as loyal to the monarchy seems to be a "must" for somebody like fugitive former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who has traditionally been accused by his political rivals as being disloyal to the higher institution.

Ousted former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra appears in a live broadcast on Channel 11 as he presides over a Thai boxing match in Macau.

This explained why Thaksin felt the urge to profess his loyalty to the monarchy and deny accusations made against him by former Pitak Siam leader, Gen Boonlert Kaewprasit, aka Seh Ai, that he is disloyal, when Thaksin made his "coincidental" appearance on state-run TV Channel 11's special live broadcast of a Thai boxing tournament staged in Macau on Dec 9.

The poster children of the red movement. What a nice looking bunch.

What a picture! Nobody would ever guess (self-proclaimed) defenders of human rights, equality, law and order and democracy. Look more like an Asian Sopranos gang or Dear Brother’s bodyguards. Remember the old TAT touted “Land of Smiles” propaganda slogan? This picture alone has put a hit on that worn out phrase.

There's that phrase again - ' is entitled to'.
Why is always PTP supporters or red-shirts I see using this as the defining statements of their supporting arguments ?

"To be truly loyal, one does not have to wear a yellow shirt or express birthday wishes, but to follow his advice on many things from the sufficiency economy and conservation of natural resources to unity and honesty. It is pointless to profess loyalty to the King while at the same time defying all his advice".

"Actions speak louder than words!" said the wise men _ and it's true.

Khun Veera, you've hit the bulls eye! 10 point out of 10!
