The importance of being Abhisit

Take a second. Think about it. It's a bizarre world we live in. Stand back and look at today from the perspective of 15 years ago.

Abhisit Vejjajiva is being stripped of his military rank and facing criminal charges, deemed evil personified. Meanwhile Chalerm Yubamrung enjoys honours and adulation, rank and prestige. He's the face and voice of the government of the people of Thailand.

The golden boy now gets bullied, scorned and scared. The bully has become the nation's top politician, next to Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra. If someone had told me 15 years ago that this day would come, I would have said, "Yeah right, and Laos will surpass us in mobile telecommunications technology."

Answer to your question: Educated people who are sick and tired and feel like vomiting by seeing and listening to corrupt and obviously lying, arrogant and selfish politicians without abilities, ethics and honor.
Please accept the fact that not all Thai people like to be – or accept to be - treated like an idiot by people giving away money for their own selfish benefit! Unfortunately, ethical people who don’t care about freebies are in the minority here!

D32. What happened to Abhisit house (blood smear), can happen to any hosue in Thailand. And when a group of red-shirts come to your house and threaten, intimidate you and your family you might think differently.
And don't count on the police to protect you.

The 2006 coup has generated untold political and non political casulties and it looks as if AV is getting dangerously close to joining the list. Today we see unending use of the laws, courts, judges as it should be but in 2006 the laws, courts, judges were cast out overnight. Even Thaksin should have had rights at that time. This is the legacy of the coup. Where would we be if there had been no coup rather a use of the laws and courts.

There will never be reconciliation until the Man Abroad decides to stay there and the acolytes of his dynasty simply say, "Thank you for what you did, but now is not the time for you to be here. Indeed there may no longer ever be a time for you to be here. Enjoy your retirement, read a book and keep quiet - or go hug Hun Sen."

Bravo ! You are very right....
The majority has chosen the BAD, a minority has chosen the GOOD. I'm very worrying what happens inside Thailand...
