The Chiang Mai Zoo will be hosting farewell activities for Lin Ping from September 21 to 27, upon which she will board a Thai Airways flight accompanied by at least 300 people consisting of veterinarians, Thai and Chinese officials, and members of Thais Who Love Lin Ping. It is hoped the panda will find a mate in Wulong so she can return to Thailand after a year in China. Along with the extravagant sendoff, The Nation also reports that Lin Ping is now being trained to get used to a cage and aeroplane noise for the most pleasant journey possible.

Another middle aged guy looked really upset as he danced to a rap song."
