Would the person/people who vote more than once or even seemingly 100's of times, please stop.

Ask yourself if your actions are honest and how you feel about people who use the same dirty method to manipulate a poll.

I cannot believe the 87.5% 'NO' vote from 8,212 voters. Not sure that many people read the BKK Post or would be bothered to vote.

bula D14 : Have I lived in Zimbawe for at least a year? What a silly question. I only have to rely on my memory over last 30 years to remember TV coverage of the atrocities he and his thugs committed, even beating near to death an 82 year old woman. Just search the internet, YouTube etc as I suggested then get back to me and tell me he is not an animal. BTW so is his wife.

#14 You don't need to live in Zimbabwe to know how evil and corrupt that man and his regime is, just talk to any one lucky enough to get away from living there. It is not some conspiracy as you imply; look at facts given by reputable institutions that do not have an axe to grind. As for Nelson Mandela, the USA were absolutely right to list him as a terrorist, something that is in his writings and he has not denied. You can't re-write that history too.

Have you lived in Zimbawe for at least a year? USA and EU can file charges against Mugabe at International Criminal Court, but they did not. The conditions you described about Zimbawe were the result of American and European continuing oppression. International rule of law must apply on every country. USA and Europe exploited the tribal conflicts and divided the people in order to rule. Peace prize winner Nelson Madela of South Africa was once listed as a terrorist by USA.

bula D9 : You state "Mugabe is fighting against colonialism. He is fighting for justice for his own people".

You are joking or do not know or haven't bother reading up on this monster who has killed hundreds or his own people and caused thousands to starve and live in poverty whilst he plunders the country for 30 years. Go net search him then come back to us with what you find. Show me anything that proves he wis good for his people.

I am sticking to my opinion post. I do not trust every western propaganda. USA, in order to protect their own interests funded opium planting in golden triangle and Afghanistan. Told lies in order to invade Iraq and created the Iraq invasion of Kuwait. Lie on the gulf of Tongking in order to invade Vietname, etc. If Mugabe is what you have described, the UN would have impost sanction. USA and EU can file charges against Mugabe at International Criminal Court. The conditions you described about Zimbawe were the result of American and European continuing oppression. International rule of law must apply on every country.

Ms Nalinee shouldn't have been appointed in the first place.

BTW, she is completely unfit to represent Thailand if she thinks that it's no big deal 'to have a personal friendship with Mugabe'. He's rotten to the core and responsible for bringing a once prosperous country to its knees single-handedly.

@bula. 'Nalinee...raising the image of Thailand.'

Her appointment could not be MORE damaging. Mugabe's brutal, corrupt and murderous regime is seriously condemned internationally.

Mugabe decimated his country while he and his cronies have become very rich.

'Physicians for Human Rights delegation to Zimbabwe found that the Mugabe regime destroyed the country's healthcare system and pursued policies that ruined what had been a vibrant agriculture, depriving all but a tiny elite of proper nutrition, water, and a sustainable livelihood. One result has been a cholera epidemic and the spread of other diseases.'

'Life expectancy in Zimbabwe under President Robert Mugabe fell from 62 years in 1990 to 36 in 2006.' Now the shortest life-span the world over.

In appointing Nalinee as one of the cabinet ministers and giving her the responsibility of raising the image of Thailand, it signals that American should engage Thailand and the region with respect and on equal terms. American's unilateral sanction against any country and individual is against UN human rights charter. In the case of Zimbawe, Mugabe is fighting against colonialism. He is fighting for justice for his own people, sovereignty for his people, recognition of the independence of his people, and their right to their resources. Thailand is prepared to engage the American and the world in the international political arenas. American's unilateral sanction on Ms Nalinee, not Thailand, is a miss-step to please its western allies for its own interest not the world. Thais should welcome the appointment of Nalinee and PM YS has made a bold and right decision.
