spiceman D32 - "the water was supposed to be gradually released beginning in mid September, and do you think who was the PM by then?"
The PTP became government on August 25th. On that date, the dams were receiving 3x more water than the normal annual average and already 80% full, given it was a year of record rain. On that same date, dams were releasing 30% less water than the annual average. And we know who was the caretaker PM on August 24th. On Aug 27th, release rates were literally doubled, but was too late. Can you explain how 200 people died of floods in 2010, given your WMD dam theory?

Khun Bula #31, first of all, impeachment is an awkward procedure in a parliamentary system like Thailand. It only works for a country governed strictly by the Rules of Law, specifically, the US, which is a Constitutional Representative Republic, to be used only to censure, and if, necessary, to remove a sitting US President or judges. I am not a (Thai) Democrat, so I can't speak for AV.

Second, do you think it was in the best interest of the farmers to turn water in the dams into WMDs, and then unleashing it to kill a bunch of them, and to destroy their fields, not to mention the damages inflicted to the rest of the country? The AG Minister purposely sealed up the dams until it was too late.

Finally, the water was supposed to be gradually released beginning in mid September, and do you think who was the PM by then?

Khun spiceman #24 - The DEM can initial impeachment proceeding against AG minister if they think he screwed up. He did his best under the circumstances for the interest of the farmers. He was AG minister under AV administration when he did not released water.

19: "BangkokPost has approximately ~4000 readers per article. Any number of votes above that are illegitimate."

This one is the front page poll, what has it got to do with number of viewer per any particular article ?

Even with months of warning the National government still failed to do anything .It was a joke as reflected in the sad cartoons that ran everyday in the paper .The government did nothing .Don't condemn the governor because he tried to do something .He and the army did it all while Yingluck stood helplessly and her cabinet hid silently .I didn't hear a word out of Chalerm or Jatuporn the whole time .

#23 he won't be appointing the next governor. BTW I have a property in BKK and contribute to the government spend so I guess I am allowed an opinion.

Khun Chinagirl #21, do you think the AG Minister who screwed up at the dams should be removed too? Remember that if he didn't screwup, none of this would happen, you know, more than 800 deaths and untold amount of economic damages.
