I see nothng wrong with a peaceful demonstration when injustice needs to be righted. But agree that it is annoying when the traffic is held up. But in a free society you can't have both.

I emphasize with the flood victims and I agree that they should be compensated because it was the governments failure to prevent the floods and to remedy the floods once it occurred.
I disagree with their method of demanding payment - because 'mob rule' is actually anarchy. It is sad that the only thing the government understands is 'mob rule'. Whether flood protestors, pineapple growers, rubber growers, rice farmers, court decisions, (everything). If you want something, make a mob and the government will give you what you want. That is a very sad state of affairs, a poor way to run a country and sad for this society.
