Does it really make a difference? Now lots of people die in American drone attacks and at least some of them are innocent civilians. And how often does the USA prosecute the remote control handlers of these deadly attacks? As far as I know none of these remote pilots and remote rocket launchers was ever prosecuted for killing civilians. So now no one is held responsible and obviously with robots nobody will be held responsible. So it does not really matter.
But obviously if the Iranians would kill civilians with robots now this would be a totally different story – at least in the eyes of America.Discussion 1 : 22 Nov 2012 at 06.161
If they are running Microsoft software then let's test them in Washington DC and see how they work. Otherwise just pull the plug on that project. Humans must be responsible for taking human life.
