Not all photos show good things. Some can be displayed showing the bad side.

Not a surprise, Thai's love photo's. My wife met friends of hers for dinner and afterwards had a quick photoshoot outside the Promenade, 169 photo's in 30 min. But I think on a per square metre basis Plearn Warn in Hua Hin beats any place in the world.

Where the photo's of the large gaps between floor slabs, the thousands of broken floor tiles, cheap fittings, electrical wires hanging out of conduits, or the general poor standard of maintenance / cleaning? I can only compare Suvarnabhumi with Bole / Addas Abbaba in Ethiopia, as they are in about the same condition which is a sad reflection. There doesn't seem to be any pride taken by the AOT, in the fact that Suvarnabhumi is the first thing Travellers see of Thailand.

Passengers spend average 4 hours at Suvarnabhumi so no surprise. Most likely the immigration queue takes 1 hour already.

Considering the volume of people that travel thru the airport, this should not really be a surprise. Every time I am there, the place is packed. Even early morning departures (0200 hrs) it’s difficult to walk in departures without bumping into someone. Siam Paragon is similar on weekends and holidays.
