Well, well, Spiceman and other Adam + Eve lovers, remember that so far all those gays and lesbians have been created by Adams with Eves. So what if there's something wrong about it, who is to blame?

There are a few rights coming with marriage:
    1. heritage - why should a gay or lesbian partner not be entitled to heritage if his/her partner passes away?
    2. Tax advantages for married couples versus singles
    3. Disclosure of medical status if one of the partners is in hospital treatement. Not married, the partner has no right to get any information from the Doctors and nurses.
    4. etc.

Now I know why the Republicans did not win the White House .. all the right wing American religious zealots are living here in Thailand.

Of course they should be allowed to marry... Why should straight people be the only ones to suffer?

Keeping religion out law making would simplify things .

Male and female homosexuality has been around for thousands of years. Men and women have been marrying each other for thousands of years. Now in the 21st century, we are asking should men marry men and women mary women. Seems like if the answer is yes, the question (and answer) would have come up long before now.

Why shouldn't everyone be subjected to the same laws and pain as everyone else. A committed relationship is a committed relationship ... PERIOD.... and should be treated equally with ALL the benefits and pitfalls that we all encounter and endure.

Humorous that posters here are arguing over homosexual genes. Opens the curtain... or should I say the closet door.

I am not gay, katoeys give me the shivers, my wife has a kennel and 30% of her customers are queer. Who gives a damn? This is without doubt the dumbest reader poll I have ever seen. Geez, BP do something worthwhile!

How about letting consenting adults have the relationship they desire without the prejudice of religion kicking in?
