Well Hotels & Resorts, a Thai hotel management company, has signed with a new upscale lifestyle boutique property, Phratamnak Well Resort Pattaya, set to open in late 2019.

The agreement includes the pre-opening and full operational management.

Phratamnak Well Resort Pattaya is owned by Kasetsinn Co and located in Phratamnak, Pattaya, in Chon Buri province on eight rai.

The property consists of 78 rooms and suites with meeting facilities that could support the growing business of Mice (meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions) in the region thanks to the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) initiative, said Danai Wansom, president and chief executive at Well Hotels & Resorts.

"As Thailand is moving forward with developing infrastructure in the EEC, we foresee that tourism and Mice will be on the rise in this region," said Mr Danai.

"We are very excited to be a part of this new project. Our team understands the needs of leisure and meeting groups in the Pattaya area and is committed to going beyond meeting those needs to provide consistent value added services to this project."

Phratamnak Well Resort Pattaya is the fourth property in the portfolio under Well Hotels & Resorts' management. Their first property was Well Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20, debuted in 2016, followed by the rebranding and takeover of the management of Costa Well Resort Pattaya in Bang Saray and White Sand Beach Residences Pattaya in Na Jomtien.

Pongstorn Sangruchi, chairman of Kasetsinn group, said the group met with many management companies but decided to make the deal with Well Hotels & Resorts thanks to its regional marketing expertise and unique understanding of Thai culture.
