Byrd and the tweens are on a mission to find the missing notes that in the end will create the Universal Symphony of Harmony.

Flying with Byrd

Thailand’s most famous and successful pop star, Byrd, or Thongchai McIntyre, has done a lot of things in his 24-year career but he has never been a cartoon character – until now that is.

The 54-year-old entertainer has been working with Thailand's giant GMM Grammy company and the animation company Shellhut Entertainment to create an animation series for TV called Flying with Byrd. The series will premiere next April. Here is a short description of what you can expect. Does it sound like something you might want to see?
 
Byrd’s animated character will play the role of an adventurer, teacher, mentor, scientist and a guardian angel to a group of six ''tweens'' characters with different talents and different ethnic backgrounds. The cast also includes Squawky, Byrd's smart-talking parrot as well as three villains.

''The animated character doesn't look exactly like Byrd but will have a more international look.

There will be 52, 15-minute episodes in the first season of the show. The six tweens will travel through space and time, guided by Byrd and Squawky. The mission is to find the missing notes hidden throughout history that will at the end create the Universal Symphony of Harmony.

Their adventures include helping cavemen to create the first musical instruments and write the first song, meeting Beethoven to help him compose his fifth symphony, going back in time to ancient Greece to launch the first Olympics, and working in a science lab to help invent the first computer – the size of a house!

In one episode, the kids travel back in time to Thailand to meet Byrd when he was a boy who made a decision to devote his life to music and bringing joy to others.
