SET up 0.88% at opening

Thai stocks opened up 9.71 points at the start of trade Wednesday morning.

The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index opened at 1,116.12 points, up 0.88% from Tuesday’s close. The trade value was 1.57 billion baht, with 255.38 million shares traded.

The SET50 index opened at 783.76 points, up 7.64 points or 0.98%, with a total trade value of 1.11 billion baht.

The SET100 index rose 16.21 points, or 0.96%, to 1,701.71 points, with a total turnover of 1.32 billion baht.

The SETHD index went up 7.94 points, or 0.74%, to 1,074.93 points, with a total turnover value of 236.14 million baht.

The MAI index gained 1.28 points, or 0.43%, to stand at 298.39 points, with total transaction value of 28.61 million baht.

Top five most active values were as follows;

BCP              stood at       21.70 baht, up 0.90 baht (4.33%)
KBANK         stood at      140.50 baht, up 1.50 baht (1.08%)
IVL               stood at        39.00 baht, up 0.75 baht (1.96%)
PTT              stood at      341.00 baht, up 3.00 baht (0.89%)
PTTGC          stood at       71.75 baht, up 1.00 baht (1.41%)
