Two men on a motorcycle hurled a grenade at a PTT gas station at Ban Pongsata in Pattani’s Yarang district on Wednesday morning, but missed their target and no one was hurt by the explosion.
The grenade hit a nearby parked car and the explosion destroyed the vehicle, the reports said.
Police blamed separatist militants.
