If you are planning a visit to Chon Buri, there is now a one-stop shop for your arts, culture, history and lifestyle needs.

The Culture Ministry, Chon Buri province and Chiang Mai University have launched the Cultural Map @ Chon Buri website (www.culturalmap.in.th) to promote tourism.
The website can be viewed in English, Chinese, Russian and Thai languages.
According to Culture Minister Sukumol Khunploem, the website is a pilot project for the Cultural Tourism Database Development programme which plans to promote cultural tourism throughout the nation.
The website details about 2,000 attractions in Chon Buri and is segmented into arts, culture, history and lifestyle.
Clicking on each segment leads to an interactive Google map with the location of each attraction, although GPS coordinates are not yet available. You may click on each place to view brief information or view a video clip. However, the clip is only provided in Thai.
The website will help holiday-makers enjoy and learn more about Chon Buri, Chon Buri Governor Komsan Ekachai said.
"We have many interesting attractions _ much more than just Pattaya," he said, adding the province could offer all tourists with various experiences like nature, history, and modern entertaining attractions such Koh Si Chang, Khao Kheow Open Zoo, Wat Yai Inthraram Temple and elephant village for their holiday.
The Culture Ministry also plans to offer a smart phone application in the future.
