No matter what the season or the trend is, one thing that never goes out of style and will make any woman look gorgeous is flawless, natural looking skin.
"In my experience, Thai women have a classic, sophisticated aesthetic and I love to help them create gorgeous make-up looks that complement that preference," said Ms Fernandez, director of global artistry for cosmetic company Too Faced.
"Thai women are known for their bright, beautiful skin with a golden undertone and I believe there are many contributing factors - a few are humidity, diet and access to excellent skincare."
To create the perfect skin in this humid climate, she recommended using primer as the first step to lock everything in place. Then, use a small amount of concealer to cover up concern areas, and nowhere else.
"Use a very small amount of concealer only where you need it - a little under the eye and a little along the lash line," said Fernandez.
To make the face look lit-from-within, use brightener around the edges of the eye. She also thinks bronzer can make a big difference. Her technique is to mix skin priming powder with bronzer so that the bronzer has a softer effect on the face. Apply it at the T zone and in E shape at the sides of the face (temple, cheekbone, and jawline) to give it a more contoured look.
Highlighter can also make the face look outstanding, and it is one of the her favourite items. It can makes the face appear slimmer and bring out some features on the face.
"A cream highlighter is something that looks very natural. I use that on the centre of the nose, and a little bit at the Cupid's bow of the lips - this will give you the look of the lip being more upturned," Fernandez said.
"I also do highlighter at the outer corner of the eye. If you want to use powder highlighter, you can use the same technique. It will give you the lit-from-within effect."
Since the focus of this look is on flawless, beautiful skin, very little should go on elsewhere, especially the eyes. For this look, she only uses "Honeypot" colour (gold shimmer) on the centre of the eyes to make them appear rounder.
Finish it with cream eyeliner, which she feels is easier to use and is more natural.
"I like to use my cream eyeliner with a brush. This will give you a softer diffused look. It will give you more natural look as well. It's a very simple way of applying eyeliner. You can apply it very thick too to create a dramatic cat-eye. The brush allows you to wing it out in a seamless line," said the renowned make-up artist.
Her tip is to double check the eyes after everything is done, and see whether the bottom need anything. If yes, use the same palette and just softly line underneath.
"You don't want a lot of colour underneath the eye. Use the brush to apply colour under the eye to give it a fuzzy diffused look, which also makes it appear larger."
Flawless skin and understated eyes go very well with this season's bold lips trend. Add a pop of colour to your face with colourful lip gloss for a more vibrant look - nude lips and minimal make-up can make you look too pale. She recommended using nude lip liner before putting anything else on.
"Nude lip liner is the perfect base for any lip gloss or lipstick. It gives a nice definition to the lip. It also acts as a lip line concealer if the line around the lip is very dark."
She emphasised again that bronzer can make a big difference to how a woman look, whatever her skin tone.
"A light bronzer works beautifully. It doesn't mean that the skin has to look darker. The skin could have a nice gold highlight. Don't be afraid of bronzer!"

Eyeliner for sweat sessions
Bobbi Brown put its Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner to the test by inviting beauty bloggers to wear the eyeliner and enjoy a 45-minute sweaty Pilates session. The eyeliner, which this year has received the Martha Stewart Weddings' Big-Day Beauty Award, impressively passed the test - no smudging, no flaking and no panda effect under the eyes. The product has been inspired by Bobbi Brown's very own lifestyle. She is a gym-goer who loves make-up, and wants make-up that can withstand her sweat session.
