Inventors who have creative ways of making life easier have a chance to win 500,000 baht and appear on television.

True Corporation is inviting innovators to show off their work at the "True Innovation Awards 2012".

Under the theme of "Innovation for a better life", contestants are required to present their ideas, and be able to prove that their innovations are practical and workable. They should be able to demonstrate the development of their works from concept to the final product and show how it will benefit society. The contestants' innovations will be broadcast on a reality show on True's X-Zyte channel from October to January.

Winners in two categories will receive 500,000 baht first prizes, 200,000 baht will go to the first runner-up, and 50,000 baht to the second runner-up, while 10,000 baht will be given to two winners of Best Inspiration prizes. Other benefits for winners include training courses with experts and the opportunity to promote their invention for commercialisation.
