A group of seven Thai artists called "3 x 6 + 1" are showcasing a collection of paintings inspired by their love and gratitude for their homeland in the "This Is Our Land" exhibition.

Through acrylic, oil and ink on paper, they reflect the treasures they perceive from their motherland in terms of Thai culture, the prosperity of natural resources and the beautiful natural scenery.

The paintings on show vary in style and techniques, though they all portray the artists' patriotism and pride to be born in Thailand during the era of HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The seven artists are Chatchai Kururattanakorn, Chawan Prapaithong, Kongsak Kunklangdon, Wanlop Meemak, Sumeth Pad-iam, Sayumpoo Yommana and Lalita Jitjai. Each of them has exhibited and won awards.

Part of the proceeds from sales of the artworks will go to the Rotary Club of Samphanthawong.

"This is Our Land" is on display at the Sky Lobby of Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld daily from 10am-8pm until Oct 1. There is no entry fee. Call 02-100-1234 ext 6753.
