The floodwater in the Aranyaprathet municipal area in Sa Kaeo province has continued to rise, and the army and nearby eastern provinces to have pooled relief efforts, reports said.
As of Wednesday afternoon, the rail track was inundated from about one kilometre from Aranyaprathet station to tambon Ban Mai Nong Sai.
Also flooded was Suwannasorn road, Aranyaprathet's main road.
The road in front of the bus terminal was 30-50 centimetres under water, not passable to small vehicles.
Soldiers and vehicles from the 3rd Infantry Battalion, Burapha Task Force, and 12th Rangers Regiment were mobilised to take part in the flood relief efforts.
Rescue units from nearby eastern provinces were also called for help.
