It's back with a bang! After disappearing from the scene for two years, the spectacular Zense Gourmet Deck and Lounge Panorama recently returned as a trendy dining venue with a sensational view of Bangkok from the 17th floor of Zen World.
Rangsit Sirananon, Natalie Glebova, Allan Namchaisiri, ZEN Department Store president, Sudhitham Chirathivat, Central Group of Companies executive chairman, Dr Somsak Chalachol, Charn Chanon and Marisa Anita.
Guests at the re-opening celebration included more than 100 celebrities plus VIPs from the business elite and socially prominent sets. The highlight of the evening was a culinary presentation by Thailand's top male and female models, of 12 dishes _ two for each of Zense's five participating restaurants and two for Zense Patisserie.
Kikusui offered two samples of its renowned Japanese fusion with spicy tuna roll and dragon roll.
White Cafe presented two of their Thai favourites, larb ped and yum som-o (pomelo salad).
To Die For supplied the contemporary fusion dishes of stuffed prawns and creamy crab cakes.
Gianni Restaurante served up Italian fare with delicious smoked salmon rolls and grilled scallops with caponata.
Red presented two signature Indian dishes in makhmalai murgh tikka and paneer tikka achari.
Zense Patisserie's team supplied the desserts with pancetta-almond financier and smoked chocolate frozen souffle.
Guests enjoyed the great food in the stylish setting while taking in the fine view, either inside the glass-encased restaurant designed by award-winning architect Amata Luphaiboon, or on the spacious balcony overlooking the Bangkok night, grooving to chilled-out rhythms enhanced by lighting in shades of purple, fuchsia and blue.
