West Indies captain Darren Sammy won the toss and elected to bat in the World Twenty20 final against hosts Sri Lanka in Colombo on Sunday.

Sri Lanka made one change from the side that beat Pakistan in the semi-final, bringing in 20-year-old spinner Akila Dananjaya in place of Rangana Herath.
The West Indies retained the same team that defeated Australia in the second semi-final.
