Meesak Nakarat dies of cancer

Well-known singer, actor and song writer Meesak Nakarat died of cancer on Thursday morning. He was 74.

A bathing rite for him will be held at Sala 1 of Wat Samian Naree at 4pm.

Meesak wrote many songs which became hits from 1957 to 1966.

As a singer, he was a member of the "3 Saks" trio - Sakkarin Boonyarit, Thanongsak Pakdeethewa and Meesak Nakarat.

He was also a director of dramas, an arts director, a show host of several programmes of TV Channel 3 in the early period of the station, and a radio show host.
