Sabina has joined hands with Muang Thai Life Insurance and PTT Global Chemical to roll out the "Sabina Sewing Cup Sewing Heart" project which encourages people to help sew breast prostheses in honour of HM the Queen's 80th birthday.
The project invites 80 organisations and volunteers across the nation to jointly sew breast prostheses for patients in need with a provided sewing kit, which comes with sewing tools and a video demonstrating how to make breast prostheses by actress Rinlanee "Joy" Sripen.
All donated breast prostheses will see 80 baht contributed to the project by Sabina and its partners. The project expects to receive 8,000 prostheses which will be given to patients, while the donation money presented to HM the Queen will go to the Thai Red Cross Society.
For those interested in joining the cause, the project offers a special "1 Sewing Set Equals 80 Baht Donation" promotion. The sewing kits are available at Sabina counters nationwide, all branches of Muang Thai Life Insurance and participating Jiffy shops.
When they return the completed sewing cup, participants will get a 100 baht cash voucher for future purchases of Sabina products.
The campaign runs until Nov 16.
