Chuvit backs govt censure debate

Chuvit Kamolvisit, a list MP and the leader of the Rak Thailand Party, will join the opposition in a censure debate against the government.

Mr Chuvit announced his intention on Sunday, saying he would talk over the matter with Jurin Laksanavisit, the opposition chief whip, tomorrow.

He said he would not touch on the rice-pledging scheme, reasoning that the issue would already be handled by the Democrat Party.

He would rather keep the issue he had picked to grill the government a secret. It would be a big surprise, backed up by pictures, clips and important quotes, Mr Chuvit said.
