PTT and Bangchak Petroleum on Tuesday evening announced that they are cutting pump prices by 0.50 baht a litre for petrol and gasohol, and 0.30 baht per litre for gasohol E85.
Effective early Wednesday morning, the new retail prices of fuel at PTT and Bangchak outlets in Bangkok and nearby provinces will be 42.15 baht per litre for petrol 91, 36.23 baht for gasohol 95, 33.78 baht for gasohol 91, 30.78 baht for gasohol E20 and 20.78 baht for gasohol E85.
Price of diesel remains unchanged at 29.79 baht a litre.
The price cut came after the Energy Ministry on the same day increased the subsidy for diesel by 0.70 baht a litre.
