Joe Dante to direct high-altitude horror flick

Director Joe Dante (Gremlins) is working on a new horror flick titled Air Disturbance and starring Dylan Walsh and Robert Englund, reveals Variety.

After The Hole, Dante plans to turns a plane into an inferno in Air Disturbance, a movie about a transcontinental flight "on which supernatural phenomena take place."

In the movie, Dylan Walsh (Nip/Tuck, Unforgettable) plays a widowed man traveling with his kids and psychic girfriend. Robert Englund, best known for playing the original Freddy Krueger, will portray a fanatical minister, according to the website.

Air Disturbance will reportedly start production by the end of November in Los Angeles.
