Police in Ayutthaya have seized 4,000 methamphetamine pills and busted a dealer with a souped up car, while police in Chiang Mai found speed pills in packages depicting fruit and cartoon characters.

In the central province of Ayutthaya, police arrested Sombat Supaporn, 28, after they found 4,000 yaba pills inside his car.
Police said they had been suspicious of Sombat and had been following him for a month and had failed to arrest him on several occasions because his modified car was too fast for them to catch.
In Chiang Mai, police reported finding yaba pills in packages depicting cartoon characters and fruit at another suspected drug dealer's home.
The suspect confessed that his girlfriend sold the pills to teenagers at entertainment venues for 200 baht each, according to police. He said the drugs were imported.
