PATHUM THANI - Police on Wednesday arrested two drug suspects and seized 6,000 methamphetamine pills, or yaba, with an estimated street value of 1,800,000 baht.
Police said on Thursday that they acted on information that a fast food restaurant in Pathum Thani province was being used as a pick-up point for illegal drugs.
Police searched two young men, aged 17 and 18, and found 6,000 yaba pills inside one man’s bag.
The two confessed that a dealer paid them 2,000 baht to deliver the drugs to different clients and that they had been delivering drugs in other provinces before.
Police are looking for more evidence that could lead them to a local drug gang.
